Heavy Duty Electric Trucks, Buses & Fleets Test Equipment
Next generation diagnostic tools and test equipment are required for faster, more effective and scalable maintenance and repair of electric fleets. New emerging markets for servicing medium and heavy duty electric fleets need to address unprecedented challenges and require flexible and scalable test equipment.
Electric fleet management requires having the right diagnostic and communication tools to effectively service and repair electric components and systems. As the adoption of electric school buses and commercial fleets increase, service centers need to be equipped to test electric components and subsystems at higher power levels and higher volumes on demand.
Testing is required at the component and system level to reduce testing time, improve safety risks and reduce time to market. Establishing a scalable infrastructure requires test solutions that have the flexibility to address today’s higher voltage levels, and the modularity to expand for future requirements. NHR has test solutions and approaches for servicing the electric battery, electric powertrain and power electronics for fuel cell, hybrid and full-electric fleets. Advanced diagnostic tools include battery testers, battery emulators, AC/DC loads and sources.
Contact NHR to learn what unique testing capabilities will dramatically reduce inspection, diagnostics, repair and service time.
HD Electric Truck, Bus & Fleet Test Systems
NHR's battery test systems are regenerative, bi-directional DC sources. The 9300 High Voltage Battery Test System has a dual power range that covers both lower (up to 600 V) and higher power (up to 1200 V) applications using a single product. This modular system can be scaled up to 2.4 MW in 100 kW building blocks. The 9200 Series Battery Test System has voltages of 40, 120 or 600V, capable of charge/discharge and cycle testing of 10 - 250kW module and pack-level batteries.
NHR’s electric powertrain test solutions provide a bi-directional approach with the speed and accuracy to emulate real world conditions. NHR’s 9300/9200 battery emulators can be used to emulate a high voltage battery and the DC Buss, ideal for electric propulsion testing.Key features include:
- Battery/Motor emulation sinks & sources to maintain voltage regulation
- Accepts back EMF and prevents safety hazards
- Isolated input and output paths eliminates single points of failure
In-vehicle Power Electronics
NHR offers AC-DC, DC-DC products for testing EV components (on-board charger, EVSE, APM) including both AC and DC products.
